Any regular 5-credit graduate Computer Science class may be used as an elective toward the CS M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. CE/CS 200, 280, 296, 297, and 299 may not be used as electives.

SOE classes outside of Computer Science may be used with the approval of the advisor.

Non-SOE classes relevant to the student's program of study may be used with the approval of the advisor and the Grad Director (by written petition).
